It's the hottest chilli in the world, 14 times more spicy than cayenne
Perhaps you've heard of Carolina Reaper, the hottest chilli in the world. Now there is even more spicy chili. So spicy, this chili can be very risky if eaten.
Here's Pepper X, the harshest chilli in the world just discovered by Smokin Ed Currie. Reported by Oddity Central, Ed is the founder and mad scientist behind PuckerButt Pepper Company. Ed also created the Carolina Reaper.

Ed tried to formulate Pepper X about 10 years ago by crossing the various varieties of chili. This new chili has a spiciness level of about 3.18 million SHU (Scoville Heat Unit). Scoville Heat Unit is a measure of the level of spiciness derived from the content of capsaicin in chili. By comparison, the cayenne pepper we normally eat has only a spiciness level of up to hundreds of thousands of SHU. While the Carolina Reaper officially still holds a spicy world record of 1.6 million SHU.
"Pepper X is three times more spicy than other peppers sold in the market," said Ed.
So spicy, Pepper X that is consumed raw can be potentially deadly. Capsaicin content in it can produce a tremendous burning sensation in the body. That's why Pepper X is currently only available as the hottest sauce ingredient ever made, The Last Dab. But even The Last Dab is still more spicy than the Carolina Reaper. Anyone dare eat this sauce or not, huh?
